1. Who we are
Ladangspace operates this website and the crisis coordination platform described on it. For privacy requests we are the controller of the personal data collected through ladangspace.click. Write to [email protected] or to 65 Nile Grove, Edinburgh EH10 4SN, UK.
2. Data this website collects
- Identity and contact details you put in a message: agency name, email address, inquiry type, and the text of the message.
- Technical data your browser sends when you load a page, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Hosting logs are kept for security and troubleshooting.
- A consent record. If you accept the banner, the site stores the value "accepted" in local storage under the key ladangspace_consent and sets a cookie of the same name for one year.
The public pages do not ask for account passwords, payment cards, or precise live location. Operational telemetry used inside a contracted platform deployment is covered by that contract, not by browsing this marketing site.
3. Why we use it
- To answer the message you send and to keep a record of that correspondence.
- To keep the site available and to investigate misuse.
- To remember that you accepted the cookie notice so it is not shown on every page.
The legal bases are: steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interest in securing and operating the site, and consent for the non-essential consent cookie. You can refuse the banner by leaving the site; the pages still load.
4. Cookies
Only one cookie is set by this site, and only after you press Accept and continue:
- Name: ladangspace_consent
- Value: accepted
- Duration: 1 year
- Purpose: store your cookie choice
The same choice is also saved in local storage so the banner stays closed if the cookie is blocked. Fonts and icons are loaded from Google Fonts and cdnjs. Those providers may process your IP address under their own policies when your browser requests those files. There are no advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
5. Who we share it with
Messages you send by email are received by the Ladangspace operations desk. Hosting and email providers process data only so the site and the mailbox can function. We do not sell personal data. We disclose it if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety during an incident you have asked us to support.
6. Where it is kept
Website correspondence and operational records for UK customers are kept in the United Kingdom. If a provider must process a request from outside the UK, we use a transfer mechanism recognised by UK GDPR.
7. How long we keep it
- Contact messages: 24 months after the last reply, unless a contract or a legal claim requires a longer period.
- Security logs: up to 12 months.
- Consent cookie: 12 months, or sooner if you delete it.
8. Security
Access to mailboxes and administration tools is limited to people who need it for their role. The public site is served over HTTPS when it is hosted on ladangspace.click. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; do not send classified operational detail through the public contact form.
9. Your rights
If UK data protection law applies, you can ask for a copy of your personal data, a correction, deletion, restriction, or transfer, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it by clearing the ladangspace_consent cookie and local storage entry. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
To use a right, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to confirm you are the person the data is about.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page. The version date is 21 October 2026.
